This is the first post on the new site, which makes it the obligatory post about the site itself. It will be short.

What goes here

Two kinds of writing. Notes are a paragraph about something I noticed that day. Essays are longer and take a few drafts, so there will be fewer of them. Both land in the same list, newest first.

How it looks

One column, system fonts, a dark mode that follows your system until you tell it otherwise, and the whole archive on every page so nobody has to click "older".
